Many of us received this letter today from Meath LEADER, if you are interested in attending and received the letter, just return the enclosed slip, if not I can include your name on mine but I would need to hear from you asap as we need to return our interest on or before next Monday March 3. A Chara,
Meath LEADER has planned a major event to celebrate the success of the National Rural Development Programme in Co Meath and to animate the imminent introduction of the Rural Development Programme 2008-2013. The event will take place on Thursday March 6 in the Main Ballroom, Trim Castle Hotel, Trim Co Meath at 6pm.
The event will incorporate a representative display of significant projects funded under the NRDP and the project promoters involved will be on hand to meet with the general public to discuss the merits of the programme. A series of workshops will take place designed to proof our new programme 2008-2013 prior to its finalisation, the workshops will also be used to deliver a training programme on how best to attract and utilise rural development funding in the new programme.
This event will be essential for the people of Meath.
to develop their knowledge about Rural Development funding possibilities
to improve the capacity of entrepreneurs and community organisations to take up and
invest such funding within the context of local development
A training manual will be circulated at the event which gives a step by step guide to applying for and successfully receiving rural development funding.
