Easter Heaven
Chocolate, chocolate everywhere,
On my hands, all over my mouth even on the chair,
Scurring around like a mischievious mouse,
Hiding the stash all over the house
No-one must find my hidden treasure,
My lucious treat that gives me so much pleasure,
Under the bed and in the attic,
No wonder my friends call me a fanatic
Runny as honey and smooth as silk,
Plain, nutty or dairymilk,
I love it all – I’m not fussy,
It’s my best kept secret even from Mrs Hussy
Curtains twitching, binoculars on call,
The neighbours are watching us all,
The desperate housewives hiding their sin,
All the shiny wrappers hidden in the bin
Oh my god if anyone knew,
That I was one of the choco few,
I would be cast out under a dark cloud,
Hanging my head in shame – not feeling so proud
Size ten and such a good girl,
As I lick the last of the crumbs from my Cadbury’s twirl,
Smiling to myself I dash out the door,
My secret safe once more, as the purple wrapper falls from the bin to the floor!

CHOC-TASTIC NEWS!!
Hi Eileen,
Glad you enjoyed my fun poem, since I can't eat much choc, I decided to turn it around and pen my frustration instead. Am trying to concentrate on writing, no matter what it is, I try to write a piece each week as well as compile my material for the book. It will take some time but fingers crossed it will be well worth waiting for!!!
Well Eileen you won't find your trip to Amsterdam, I wish you a fun and very enjoyable time. Talk soon.
Regards,
Mary
